Humans are the most fascinating creatures to ever roam around earth. Humans can be further classified on the basis of their gender, that is, masculine and feminine. Since the starting of the world, both genders have faced severe discrimination. Women have been denied voting, they receive lesser wages for the jobs that are also done by men. Women face sexual harassment on a much larger scale than men. However, more males are subject to violent crimes. More males die from war crimes, and war itself. More males are in prison. More males are murdered every year; therefore, we see that either of them has their own set of problems.
I believe that both men and women should have equal rights. Neither should have complete supremacy over the other. In today’s time, a lot of countries and places are either dominated by women or by men. For example: Because of feminism a vast majority of females have received a free ‘pass’ to do anything they want, be it free travelling, free food, or free spaces to live. When a married couple opts for divorce, it is the male who has to pay for the well-being of the woman, until she gets married to another man. But we must not forget about incidents where males too, completely dominate women. Women, till the nineteenth century, could not vote, only men could. Women were merely an object for males. In a lot of countries and places, it is still prevalent. Women were treated as slaves. This indicates that both males and females suffer. One has an advantage over the other in different aspects. Therefore, equal opportunities, privileges and duties should be provided to both males and females.
We as humans tend to put things into boxes, whether they are completely respectable, or completely inaccurate. We should neither promote the superiority of one gender nor promote the inferiority of the other gender. We should treat each other with tenderness and compassion because that is what separates us from the other species and animals that roam the earth.
